Officially 3 Years Old.

Yong2 is officially 3 years old last friday, 22 April 2011. It was an unplanned celebration actually. so, that's why i bought only half kg cake and requested the bakery to add an ultraman toy in the cake.
His best buddy juga la..mesti ada. Notice the ultraman knee wrapped with black sellotape? He broke it but we taught him to repair and not to throw away any of his broken toys..kira pendidikan juga ba tu kan..supaya nanti besar dia pandai fikir, kalau barang rosak cuba baiki dulu sebelum buat keputusan untuk buang.

Mummy have to interfere. Macam itu nephew dia yang mau tolong tiup tu lilin. Si birthday boy pula asyik ketawa.

Hmm..since it was an unplanned family party, i with the help of my sis in law (hubby's side) prepare this simple dish~ Laksa Sarawak. I used 'mee kuning' instead of bihun / mee hun..Yummy juga la..because i used the original laksa paste which i bought last time i transit at Kuching Airport..senang juga pula mau masak tu kan..:)

P/S: I noticed that, approaching 2nd trimester in my pregnancy progress, i slowly getting back my appetite..happy. Its time to get bigger and at least hubby, my mum and mum in law wouldn't be so worry seeing me rejecting food and just lying down every time i came back from work.

I actually love taking pictures!

..especially nature pictures! Even though i do not own expensive camera but still i love taking pictures..That's why i love going to nature sites where hills, rivers, sea, trees, animals, flowers and all nature elements can be found..siok ba.

I consider my kampung is one of the place that i will like the most even it is not a tourist site, but it does have all the elements. I always feel reluctant to going back to town whenever my holiday is over..macam mau tinggal di kampung ja. Just if Kudat has polytechnic, i'll be the first person apply for transfer.

Seja-seja mau share, the pictures below were taken last January when we went back to my beloved village.'Kampung Lokoton, Kudat'. Its only the pictures itselves. teda edit-edit..:)

Si katak. I always see this kind of frog at our home during raining and during harvesting season, it will stay at our rice storage. My mum said, 'Jaga padi ba tu'..

Ikan keli @ catfish. In Rungus we call it 'Gomutan'. I used to imagine that when a centipede fell into river, it will transform to a catfish..huahua..funny! That's why i do not eat this fish.

That's all..ermm i think i like my enttry today so much! :)

'Tagal' sg. Moroli Kg Luanti Ranau

I am having a headache right now. Maybe because i exposed to the hot wether this morning during visit to The Green Connection in Likas.

That's why i post picture only. Kata orang, lets the picture talk..i believe many knows already the existence of this place.

The entrance. The signboard is on the left. A small hut cum gift shop cum registration counter and get their ticket. Here, visitors can watch the slideshow before proceeding to the river where the fish are waiting..:)

It was raining the day/night before. We were so unlucky cause can't see the fish clearly. The water is cloudy.

After 15 minutes enjoying the fish massage, its time to wash our feet and say goodbye to the fish. Time ni semua kaki merah-merah digigit oleh ikan2 kecil yang kunu-kunu mengurut. Kalau yang ikan besar barulah best rasa dia, sebab bibirnya tebal. Lembut ja kena di kaki.

Its worth visiting this place with only rm5 entrance fee for foot massage only and rm10 if you want to 'mandi' with the fish.

For sure will come back here again with my family.:)

Just a Friday Note

Betul la apa orang cakap. Seseorang wanita akan mengalami pengalaman yang berbeza setiap kali mengandung. Bagi saya pula, mungkin Tuhan memberi saya kesenangan pada kali pertama mengandung. Semua yang saya alami sekarang adalah berlawanan dengan pengalaman pertama. Cabaran mengandungkan si kecil dalam perut ni saya rasa amat menguji kesabaran dan ketahanan fizikal saya. Mungkin sebab itulah semakin rajin juga jari jemari ini meng 'google' penyebab-penyebab kepada beberapa pengalaman yang dulu tidak saya rasai. Antaranya ialah:

1. Kenapa ibu hamil selalu muntah-muntah setiap pagi, selepas makan? Macam saya pagi tadi, dah sedap2 makan bubur nasi 2 mangkuk kecil, bila sampai kat sinki automatik tekak rasa loya. Habis semua muntah balik. Geram juga rasanya.

Mengikut info dari http://www.infosihatselalu.com.my/ dan http://www.blog.kesihatanonline.com.my/ muntah-muntah yang dialami ibu hamil disebabkan oleh tekanan ke atas yang diberikan oleh bayi yang sedang membesar ke atas perut dan usus kecil. Ye la, uterus si ibu kan makin membesar untuk memberi ruang kepada bayi yang semakin membesar juga. Kali ni tidak tahu la saya sampai bila saya mau muntah2 ni.

Tidak sabar rasanya berlalu. Dulu hubby yang pajak semua 'morning sickness' ni..sampai demam panas 2 minggu..kali ni senyum2 dia sebab satu pun tidak kena sama dia. Tapi bagus juga sebab dia boleh buat semua yang saya tidak boleh.

2. Pedih ulu hati..hmm..kerap sangat saya rasa sejak mengandung. Seolah-olah tidak cukup makan. Tapi sebenarnya bukan kurang makan. Selepas makan, kandungan isi perut si ibu ditolak kembali ke saluran makanan @ esofagus. Kalau yang saya faham secara mudah, makanan tu tidak sampai ke perut la. Pernah sekali gara-gara pedih ulu hati ni, saya bangun jam 3 pagi makan nasi 2 sudu campur air suam dan garam. Setengah jam lepas tu baru boleh tidur balik.

3. kenapa saya cepat lelah / penat..itu disebabkan oleh kekurangan zat besi dalam badan. Kira kurang la zat besi badan saya ni. Tapi bukanlah tiap hari. Kena makan banyak makanan mengandungi zat besi macam seafood, kekacang, sayuran hijau seperti bayam dan banyak lagi la..tapi kalau memang selera kurang, macam mana juga kan. Terpaksa la saya bergantung sepenuhnya dengan supplement yang hospital bekalkan.

4. Kenapa kaki saya kejang /'cramp'. Biasanya memasuki trimester kedua barulah ibu hamil mengalaminya tapi saya ni terawal pula. Nurse cakap, kurang kalsium. Kali ni, saya tidak berapa suka minum susu ibu hamil. Hari tu belum lagi kena confirm pregnant, sudah saya beli Anmum Vanilla yang 600gm ka 650gm tu.. Hampir dua bulan baru habis. Tekak ni tidak boleh terima pula. Susu kacang soya pun kurang juga. Tak tau la susu lain. belum cuba lagi. Hari ni bercadang untuk shopping barang dapur dengan hubby. Jadi ambil kesempatan untuk survey susu la ni. Dan juga..beli sayur banyak2. Sebab itu ja la yang tekak ni tidak jemu mau makan.

Hmm..mungkin lain orang lain pula pengalaman time mengandung ni. Saya tidak la teruk sangat cuma yang membuatkan saya rasa teruk ni sebab semuanya tidak berlaku dulu. Kira lengkap la barangkali pengalaman mengandung ni. Sudah mengalami yang senang dan yang susah. Yang saya berdebar-debar lagi ni adalah bila nak bersalin lagi..Kalau dulu senang2 Yong2 keluar, adik dia ni i have no idea bilang tu orang putih..huhu!

Oops ya..ada tu makcik cleaner office bagitau saya kan, kalau anak first gigi bawah dia keluar dulu, means anak kedua mesti perempuan. Hasil pengamatan dia kepada menantunya yang sekarang dah anak ketiga. Dia cakap, cucu dia first lelaki gigi bawah keluar dulu. Konfirm katanya kedua ni mesti girl. Betul pula. Then, yang baby girl tu pula gigi atas keluar dulu. Konfirm lagi katanya yang ketiga ni mesti boy. Eh, betul juga lagi..

Jadi, dari pengalaman makcik tu rasanya baby girl la kali ni sebab Yong2 keluar gigi bawah dulu hari tu..happy! (duii..macam yakin ja..hahaa..sebenarnya saja2 ja. tak kisah pun. Yang penting sihat).

Bukan perut sebenar ye!

Politeknik Kota Kinabalu Mute and Deaf Students Educational Visits to Ranau

Date of visit: 30/3/2011

Location: Sabah Tea Garden, Kg Luanti Ranau.

It is part of the semester break activity for the mute and deaf students. Diorang pun mau juga enjoy ba kan. Lagi pun ramai dari negeri lain terutamanya Sarawakian yang last semester sudah.

The whole visit was great and ada 2 info yang saya rasa worth to share :

Number 1. According to the guide if you want to examine either the tea is in its original colour or not, use cold water (room temperature). If the tea is coloured (untuk penjimatan la tu) the added colour to the tea usually dissolve faster in the water but if no colouring added it takes one or two minutes to see the colour (black tea of course) dissolve in the water..Naa..kalau beli teh, berhati2 la ya..jangan beli yang kena tambah warna. Untuk jangka masa panjang tidak baik untuk kesihatan, bilang itu guide.

Number 2. Kalau mau uji lagi..guna tisu pun boleh. Basahkan tea yang mau diuji tu, then letak di atas tisu. mana-mana teh yang diwarnakan akan menyebabkan tisu berubah dengan cepat mengikut pewarna.

The tea-ready to be packed. Visitors are not allowed to enter the packaging room for hygiene purpose. Naa, biasanya pada tahap ni la warna ditambahkan kepada teh sebelum dipek.

My first and 2nd pregnancy: The Difference.

The latest me..di depan pintu masuk 'Tagal', Sg. Moroli, Kg Luanti Ranau. --will blog about my visit to Tea Garden and Kg Luanti last week.

My pregnancy has come to the 11th weeks. But my belly still look flat. Macam tiada apa2 dalam perut. Poor baby, its maybe because this time i don't really have good appetite. So, lambat baby membesar. I guess la.

If compared to my first pregnancy i noticed certain things that i didn't experience. Just would like to share on what have been going since 2 months ago:

1. I easily get mad at things that i don't use to. Especially when students do not understand what i teach them, even after i repeat for two or three times and by the fourth times, na kena marah la tu budak2 tu..bukan apa, from what i observed they don't have initiative to read notes and find the meaning in the dictionary. Mau juga saya suap satu2 maksud tu perkataan..ni lain cerita pula pasal saya cepat marah ni..i remember last week i scolded my neighbour who lives at 2nd floor. Siapa suruh dia menyapu and then terus buang di bawah, koridor kami yang baru saya sapu kotor balik. Nasib Yong2 nda kena oleh tu sampah and habuk2 yang dibuang tu.

2. Become very lazy to prepare meal..especially when dealing with chicken and fish..i can't stand the smell. I don't eat them too. Except for Kentucky Fried Chicken and the steam fish at a restaurant located at 1st floor Centre Point Shopping Complex.

3. Don't like it when my son minta manja2. Kesian si Yong2. Is it a sign that this time i am expecting a baby girl? Really hope so. But if baby boy again, i don't mind also. Ada juga kawan si Yong2 bergusti....errmm..Another one thing, i also don't like when hubby sleep too close to me. That's why our queen bed size now is added with a single bed. Terus jadi Extra King Size..wuahaha! I like. Besar space saya mau tidur. Ngenge!

4. Become very lazy to do housechores especially doing laundry, sweeping and folding clothes. I just don't know why. Hope my baby will not be a lazy person la kan..dulu pantang nampak benda2 dalam rumah tidak tersusun, mesti mula mengemas dan siap naik kerusi lagi lap-lap cermin.

Setakat ni, itulah major differences yang saya dapat kenal pasti berbanding first pregnancy dulu..and have to admit it that this time i am not as excited as the first one...just don't have idea why.....:(

Yong2 at Taska Day 2

I am very happy today..Yong2 nda lagi menangis time saya hantar dia di taska tadi pagi..Yeayy! So, boleh la sy kerja dengan gumbira ini hari.

Di rumah, masa saya kasi mandi dan kasi pakai dia baju untuk ke taska, merengek-rengek sudah dia.

'mama, jangan la pigi ofis. Yong2 tak nak pigi tempat teacher'..dia cakap. Cikgu2 di taska dibahasakan sebagai 'teacher'.

Dari rumah sampai la di kereta, dia ulang ayat yang sama. Tapi lepas tu, bila sampai depan taska lain lagi dia cakap :

'mama, hantar Yong2 tempat teacher'.

haha..mungkin sebab banyak sudah budak2 lain yang dia nampak di taska.

Macam nda sempat sudah say goodbye dengan saya. Terus dia lari pigi dalam join budak2 lain...hmm..its good for him.

Only took a day to get use with his new environment. So, as a mom, feel no worries of his social skills in the future la kan..:)

First Day Yong2 Di Taska

Awal sungguh saya update blog hari ini kan? hehe! ermm..sebenarnya fikiran saya tidak tenang sebab hari ni adalah hari pertama Yong2 saya hantar di Taska.

Waktu saya tinggalkan dia tadi, meraung-raung dia nda mau..walau pun di taska tu ada sudah tu 'girlfriend' dia yang namanya si Fara@Faya, anak kawan saya satu ofis. Haha..girlfriend kunu..sebab lepas jumpa satu kali time Hospitality Family Day di Tg Aru Beach sabtu lalu, Yong2 asyik sebut nama dia saja..

Sedih juga kasi tinggal dia tadi..Macam mana sekali pun saya kena tinggalkan juga. Dari parking kereta, saya masih lagi dengar dia meraung-raung panggil mama..huhu..kesian ooo..nda tau macam mana sudah dia sekarang. sudah berhenti menangis ka belum? kalau sy pigi tingu mesti dia menangis lagi bila sy mau kasi tinggal dia...cepat la hari berlalu..tdk sabar mau tau mcm mana kejadian dia hari ni di taska.

oh ya, hari ni juga kami dengan rasminya tinggal di kuarters politeknik. itu yang Yong kena masuk taska hari ni juga. Betul2 tidak tahan sudah berulang-alik dari Sepanggar-Putatan. Tidak tahan kos minyak dan tenaga juga. Apa lagi dalam keadaan saya sekarang. Morning sickness yang mempengaruhi kecergasan badan saya. Harap2 la ini cepat habis.

Bercakap pasal pregnancy sy kali ni, banyak yang saya mau kongsi tapi sya tidak larat mau update blog..

So, bila ada kekuatan nanti baru la saya cuba-cuba menulis lagi..:)

I hate that Smell from the Cafeteria!

Late period, nausea, lost my appetite, hate smell from kitchen...rasa2nya tanda2 apa itu a?..hmm..though its not confirm yet but i'm sure i'm having morning sickness!

Yepp, that's mean i am pregnant. Yong2's lil sister or lil brother is on the way! :)

I would say , this time is totally different. Dulu, tiada macam ni..rileks saja. Almost 2 weeks already i have those mentioned problems. Hate it. During class just now, i really can't stand the smell coming from the cafeteria near to my class. I never had this last time. Tapi, apa boleh buat kan. Terpaksa la menanggung derita utk beberapa bulan demi adik Yong2..hehe!

Hubby and me planning to do check up this Friday. And only after that everything will be confirmed.:)

That is the only word that could explain what i feel right now.

For what reason i should feel that way?

After 1 year and 10 months separated from my family, now we are reunited again.

The pain, the suffer, the stress and all the trouble in my life; gone, now.

There is nothing else could make my life happy other than seeing all person i loved, everyday.

It makes other matters in my working life getting easier to cope with, too.

By the way, for all that i have been through, through the years that were, I THANK YOU GOD.

...for all the blessess YOU bestow to me.

My first Christmas Card

Morning all, have you started sending christmas cards to friends? Or have got your first christmas card this year? Christmas is coming very soon. We have already step in to the first day of December. Yeyee!!

Yeah!! this morning i got my first Christmas Card from a dearest friend Ms Ung Ean Na. Thank you so much for brighten my almost ruin morning today. Yeah, u know, its because of the so irritating news during the morning briefing. You made my day! Thank you for always supporting me. Muah!
And thank you so much to Ms Mira as well because you helped me to find back my webcam so that i can take this picture.
